The agreement, in plain language
A real agreement without lawyer-speak. Reading and voting require no acceptance. Every other active action does.
When acceptance is required
Reading Spegeln is unrestricted. Voting in the People's Court requires no acceptance. The first time you contribute, upload, send a case or make a purchase, you must actively accept the terms.
We ask again only when something genuinely important changes.
What you confirm
When you send a case to an authority, you confirm that it is real and that you are entitled to submit it. We do not demand uploaded proof of that—but an invented case is your responsibility, not ours.
What happens to your submission
Evidence and contributions receive AI labels and are published directly under the rules. Cases sent to authorities are private by default. After delivery, you decide whether a relevant case should be published, always without your identity.
Information about unrelated ordinary people and children aged 15 or younger is removed before publication.
Your account
You choose a secret ID/token, email with a one-time link or password, or a username with a password. A token-only account is permanently lost if its token disappears. A linked verified email or saved recovery codes can restore access. Login details are never public or attached to public contributions.
Payment
Facts, analysis, exports and monitoring are free. You pay only for authority delivery, team workspaces and large-scale API access. Prices and discounts appear on the pricing page, and revenue is disclosed publicly.
What we may stop
We stop technical spam, malicious traffic and duplicates. We never stop an opinion. For votes, AI may also reject a reason that does not address the question—not a reason we dislike.
If a contribution clearly violates a founder rule, it is not published. You see the exact rule and may correct or appeal the decision.
