Why every feature is lawful in Sweden

Spegeln is built for Swedish law and Swedish targets. Here is the short legal basis for each module, without hedging or warning theatre.

The principle of public access

Official documents are public under Chapter 2 of the Freedom of the Press Act. Requesting, storing and publishing them is a constitutional right—not a favour granted by an authority.

Publishing personal data about powerholders

Facts about public authority, company appointments, property ownership and judgments exist in open registers. Publication for journalistic and opinion-forming purposes has distinct protection under Swedish law.

Children aged 15 or younger are never included in structured collection. Ordinary private individuals are named only when their connection to power is already public.

Mass appeals and Parliamentary Ombudsman complaints

Appeals, Ombudsman complaints, GDPR requests and requests for official documents are rights held by everyone. Using them repeatedly in real cases is using the system as designed.

Spegeln sends each lawful route once per case. It never sends identical duplicates.

Tax planning

The tool proposes lawful methods only: deductions, loopholes and grey areas within current law. It never encourages tax offences and never files on your behalf. You provide the facts and make the decisions.

Recording officials at work

Recording police officers and other officials performing public duties in a public place is lawful in Sweden. The original file is the counter-record to the authority's account and is published unchanged.

What we do not do

We do not publish classified information, break into systems or encourage sabotage or physical harm. The wiki documents lawful loopholes—not illegal intrusion.
